We Are CFPP

Our Church Story

From humble origins in Nova Scotia, Pastor Sharon's deep affinity for God's teachings and her local community eventually led her to the Pontiac. It was there that she crossed paths with her husband Rhéal Rivest, who became her steadfast partner in the challenging journey of building a church from the ground up.

The narrative began modestly, with intimate prayer gatherings held in Pastor Sharon's basement. As time progressed and the congregation's numbers swelled, the need for a more accommodating space became evident.

This prompted the transformation of an abandoned dance-hall into a warm and inviting sanctuary, a place where the community could gather and worship together. Amidst this transformation, there was a distinct sense that a higher force was guiding their every step.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

A little piece of history

At CFPP, we truly consider our church as a family, and we're excited to offer you a glimpse into our history. We've gone back in time to gather these images, so we hope you take pleasure in viewing them, just as we did in curating them for you!
